Peter Sykora holds an AAS from Anne Arundel Community College in Construction Management. Previously, he was a team member on AmeriCorps NCCC Pacific Region, serving on a fire team. He has worked for a number of clients, performing handyman tasks or managing larger scale projects such as kitchen and bathroom remodels.
One of the projects he looks forward to every year is working with Appalachia Service Project, where he uses the skills he's learned over the years to help families make their homes warmer, safer and drier. He has attended ASP for 10 years and, as an adult, has overseen teen volunteers and taught them basic construction skills.
When he's not working for clients, he's looking around his home for improvement projects, rebuilding the treehouse he built after high school, rebuilding his '70 Honda motorcycle, customizing his Toyota Tacoma or watching YouTube Maker videos. He is also a fan of hiking, rock climbing and adventuring with the dogs.
