Erica Sykora is a content creator and writer. She has an MS in Strategic Brand Communications from University of Illinois and holds her BA in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. She has nine published novels in various genres within the young adult audience.
Erica began her career in publishing. She authored several books while overseeing digital marketing and brand strategy for Patchwork Press. Managing numerous authors within the indie publishing collective, she gained experience in maintaining social media brand pages as well as design techniques for ebook/paperback publishing.
After her four years with Patchwork Press, she worked at the State's Attorney's Office of Anne Arundel County as a paralegal where she honed technical writing and research skills before moving on to work as a content creator at Crosby Marketing Communications.
Currently, she is a Content Supervisor at Crosby Marketing Communications and since April 2019, she has been writing social content, primarily for government, nonprofit and healthcare clients. Check out her resume here, or see examples of her work here.
Outside of work, she loves being outside with her family, dogs and a good book. She has a passion for social justice, wildlife conservation and mental health advocacy.
